4-07-08 A very busy Day

This morning we woke up in our king size bed at Aunt Katie’s (Jeff's Aunt) and it was such a great rest. Aunt Katie provided us with cereal, milk, doughnuts, and fresh fruit for breakfast. Overall we had a lovely night, we ate a wonderful dinner and watched Anchorman, which was hilarious.  She invited us to stay with her and so all the riders got to stay in this wonderful house on the lake.  Thomsen, Paul and the chaperones stayed in a hotel since they had a lot of work to do. After we left Aunt Katie’s we went to King’s Inn where we had a meeting with Thomsen. We went over the stuff that we need to get done for the website and we had to decide whether or not we are going to keep the journals up on the internet, since its taking way too long for us to get them done.  I don’t know about the others, but it sounded to me like Thomsen was losing his patience, and, that we needed to get stuff done on time. After the meeting we hopped on the highway and headed to our next stop Norman, Oklahoma!!! Ally rode first and she rode approximately 20 miles. Then we dropped Jeff and Sydney off and they rode their bikes up these huge hills, man do I congratulate them for that, they were working there butt's off going up those hills. A little further down the rod they put Jacob out and he rode also. Then Thomsen started riding about 10 miles past Jacob, so now we had four riders out there.  This seemed to work really well as we covered nearly 60 miles for the hour. So while we were waiting to leave the motel in Hot Springs, Arkansas I happened to see this taco stand across the street from the motel in the parking lot and I decided to go grab a taco and I told Tim and Ally to come along. The food was actually pretty good and while I was there I had a conversation with the lady working at the counter and I asked her how long she had been working there she said that her and her brother owned it and they have had the stand for  awhile, then I gave her a short summary of the project and she said that its amazing that us students are doing it.
